As the industry generally foresees, enhanced mobile broad (eMBB) and fixed wireless access (FWA) will be the most proven business cases in the early 5G deployments. As such, Comba Hong Kong has been working with different enterprise partners to develop and integrate different eMBB and FWA solutions since 2019.
Comba Hong Kong has developed a standalone “ScanViS + FWA” solution which is ready-to-use by simply plugging in its power cable to a common household 13A socket. This solution can greatly reduce the installation cost and can be used in some remote locations such as warehouses in rural area or a base station machine room in the country park.
This solution is currently showcased by the Hong Kong Productivity Council at its 5G Future Hall. The showroom is open to various Government entities, public organizations, utilities, and enterprises who are planning to employ 5G and the smart city solutions to increase their organizational efficiency.
