ScanViS Streamlined and Sped up Registration Process for SmartHK Event in Guangzhou

ScanViS GateGuard facial recognition system facilitated the registration process and sped up check-in time at SmartHK organized by the HKTDC (Hong Kong Trade Development Council) on 27 August 2019 in Guangzhou. It was a business event with different breakout sessions and business matching area for attendees from all business sectors who looked for professional vendors or partners from Hong Kong.

This venue access control solution ran with GateGuard all-in-one devices and a dedicated registration APP. More than 30% of attendees were willing to upload their face images for event registration and venue check-in. The solution simplified the whole registration process particularly when attendance reports were needed from different breakout sessions for future event planning. Most importantly, it helped the organizer optimize operation efficiency from on-site staffing, crowd management to event reporting.
