The ScanViS Event Registration and Access Solution (EVAS) seamlessly handles the entire process of registration, on-site check-in, and event access control.
During visitor online registration, the ScanViS event registration system ensures that a clear and front-facing image of the visitor is captured or uploaded for event facial access control. This image is then compared to the photo in the uploaded identity card to verify the visitor's identity.
For visitors who have registered online, accessing the venue is simple. They can proceed through the ScanViS event access control lane, where the system can identify them among hundreds of thousands of visitors. Visitors can walk through the access control lane without needing to stop, eliminating the need to scan any QR code or card. This eliminates on-site check-in, badge collection time, and reduces the required human resources.
For highly secured events, an additional on-site ScanViS event check-in kiosk can be deployed. This kiosk features a facial recognition terminal and a custom-grade passport reader. Visitors are required to scan their passport/identity card and their face. This kiosk further checks for any fake passports to ensure the identity of visitors before enabling their facial access to the event.
The solution operates by retrieving data such as facial recognition, ID, passport, and photo for verification via the Event Server and then sending it to the ScanViS AI Server. The Event Server performs an integrity check on visitor tickets by comparing them to the data retrieved from the AI Server. This ensures that only authorized visitors or those who have passed the verification process are granted access.
By implementing the Event Registration and Access Solution, event organizers can enhance security measures while simultaneously improving the overall attendee experience. The elimination of on-site ID/passport checks, and the adoption of facial recognition technology not only minimizes queues and waiting times but also mitigate the risk of fraudulent entry. Attendees can enjoy a hassle-free event access process, promoting a more efficient and enjoyable event environment for all participants. Additionally, this solution significantly reduces the on-site staff required for check-in, badge collection, and access control.
